Disco Inferno Map V 1.0.1
by Aaron Sommer, after Edward Cooper

Here is a cool map I (Ed) thought up while listening to the Saturday Night Fever sound track. To use it rename it Map and place it in your Marathon folder. Be sure to put your orignial map somewhere safe!

Thanks to Steve Israelson and his map editor Phorte for making this all possible.

.....stayin' alive, stayin' alive, unh, unh, unh, unh, stayin' alive... Eh?

Oh, hey. Didn't know you were here. Anyways, did some tweaking to the Disco map here- Weapons, ammo, and aliens didn't refresh, monsters appearing in the little floor lights, things like that. These things have probably been fixed, but I haven't seen an updated version anywhere, so I'm doing it meself. Ed didn't say we couldn't modify it and redistribute or anything, so I am. Enjoy. Oh, if you really like it, check out my web Site (not a page, a full-blown *site*) at

many other quality maps (some of them originals), patches, movies (both to demo the tricks on the maps and of pure -way network carnage), the demos (ya, M1 and M2), and of course, links and links and links.

Seeya there.

ps- also added a few things that weren't in there to begin with- the hall of teleporters (just stand there, it's a trip), SuperShield, which we'll dub "SuperSequins", and Walleye, aka Acid. Ever have a gunfight in a disco against someone wearing a lot of sequins while on acid? Now you know why it's a Bad Idea.
